Leave it to the fine folks at Vivid Entertainment to come to the rescue of a mother in need. Now if only Vivid Entertainment wasn’t full of self-serving sleezebags and the mom wasn’t absolutely out of her freakin’ mind octomom Nadya Suleman, then this story might actually be heartwarming. Instead it’s weird and kind of gross because stretch marks aren’t much of a turn on. Find out more after the jump.

After word got out that Octomoron Nadya Suleman’s house was about to be foreclosed, porn kings Vivid Entertainment stepped up to offer $500,000 for Nadya to star in a one-hour video. Even more impressive, Vivid agreed to advance her the cash so that she could avoid foreclosure on the October 9th deadline. Wow, what philanthropists! I can’t believe Vivid has such a bad rap with such kind gestures as offering a mother of eight a porn deal.

Nadya has definitely been struggling lately, as a source told Radar Online:

“Nadya has nannies and huge expenses raising 14 children. She needs a lot of money just to keep up with the basics. And now the income has dried up and she didn’t make enough in the past year and a half to live off of it.”

Will Nadya take the deal? If she’s in such dire straights, she may very well take Vivid up on their offer. Do we want to see the stretch-marked, crazy ass mom get down on film? We politely say no thank you.

it’s been a long time coming for one of our favorite beers to get the recognition it deserves. Golden’s Blue Moon Brewing Co. was recently named large brewing company of the year in the 2010 Great American Beer Festival’s awards. Find out more about the festival after the jump.

More than 3,500 beers were entered in the competitions in this year’s Great American Beer Festival, but Blue Moon beat out the rest of the entrants for the honor of large brewing company of the year. Beers were judged in 79 different style categories with the most competitive category bring “American-Style India Pale Ale.” The three-day festival attracted the interests of nearly 50,000 attendees who I’m sure took full advantage of being around such quality booze.

Historian and journalist Harvey Wasserman claims in this month’s Hustler magazine that he’s almost certain some of the Founding Fathers enjoyed smoking marijuana. He based his assessment on published papers, journal entries and other information which seems to directly point to America’s daddies lighting up. It sort of makes sense when you considering that these Founding Fathers (along with Ben Franklin) cultivated hemp on their land. You knew it was only a matter of time before they discovered the joys of marijuana.

I don’t know about you, but that actually puts a smile on my face, to know that even dudes who like the blaze can do something as epic as, you know, like, start a country.

You’ve got to be kidding me? A quarter of Americans think it’s all right for people to be online while they have sex? PC Tools, a computer security firm, conducted a survey with 1,012 U.S. adults in a random phone poll and found that a lot of people have no issue with sharing their sexin’ with the internet. Twenty-nine percent think it’s cool to be online during a honeymoon, while eight percent are connected during religious services. What is wrong with these people? I’m pretty sure you don’t need to be on Facebook or Twitter when you’re getting attention from a hot hook-up buddy. Get your priorities straight, please!

Well, we didn’t say it was legal command. The clerk on duty said that two men apparently entered a Super S convenience store in Lufkin, Tex. While one went up to the clerk, the other man (who was in a wheelchair) grabbed a 30-pack of beer and rolled off without paying. Though the clerk provided the names of the bandits, police have been unable to locate them. Come on police guys, do better. I mean, at least one of them can’t be fleeing but so fast.

Self-serve wine tanks could find a home in American supermarkets. Harris Teeter, Food Lion and Pathmark just got that much more awesome. Find out about the wine machines after the jump.

Started by Astrid Terzian, as an environmentally conscious and economical way to enjoy of the wine, the machines have taken off, landing in eight supermarkets so far. The tanks hold about 500 to 1,000 liters of booze and would allow shoppers pour wine in whatever container they choose. No word on whether wine tank-stands will be allowed.

For $20 the iBottleopener can be all yours for your boozing enjoyment. While in all honesty it’s just a regular iPhone case with an opening, it’s still a pretty neat idea. Though I’m not entirely sure what sort of shape your iPhone would be in after popping bottles during happy hour, it still makes life way easier when you’re trying to get your drink on.

After RadarOnline broke the news of an XXX-rated tape by Chelseas Handler, the VHS has been shopped around to a number of distributors, one whom says that they are close to finalizing a deal that would make the tape public. Chelsea’s reaction to the sex tape scandal: chill out, it’s a joke. One source said:

“Chelsea gave this demo tape to a bunch of talent agents and managers hoping to book some gigs. It was taken so long ago, distributed on old VHS tapes and the stand-up was so bad that most of the recipients of the tape probably didn’t even watch past the first couple of minutes and missed the sex tape part altogether.”

Maybe having sex on stage would have been a little more engaging than whatever the hell she was doing on the VMA stage a few nights ago.
