After just 72 days of what was likely the most awkward marriage in the history gold digger-dom, Kim Kardashian has finally filed for divorce from NBA “player” Kris Humphries.

Details, via TMZ:

We’re told even though the marriage was short, she will not seek an annulment. It’s a garden variety divorce, in which Kim cites “irreconcilable differences.”

We’re told the date of separation is listed as today, Oct. 31, 2011.

Kim has hired disso-queen Laura Wasser, who has repped the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, and Robyn Gibson, Mel’s almost ex-wife.

As we first reported, the couple has a prenuptial agreement … Kim made sure of that.

That sucks, bro. Oh well, at least you can rebound… not from this marriage, you’re doomed, Kris, but you’re a pretty damn good rebounder. That should get you an Olsen twin or maybe one of the Lohans. At the very least.

Professional Wrestler “Macho Man” Randy Savage died on Friday, after having suffered a heart attack while driving, according to TMZ.

Savage, 58 years old, was a wrestling icon whose career spanned some 28 years as well as a seven-time world champion. I get that he was a champion in a fake sport, but c’mon he was the “MACHO MAN” RANDY SAVAGE!

In his honor, let’s all let out a big “OOOHHHH YEEAAAAHHHH!” Listen, I don’t care where you are, people will understand. RIP, Mr. Savage. In your honor for the remainder of the day we will respectfully refer to the WWE as the “WWF.”

[UPDATE] CNBC’s Darren Rovell points out that on the same day Macho Man Randy Savage died, a Sim Jim factory shut down in North Carolina. Yes, you are correct in thinking that Savage was a spokesman for Slim Jim. Snap into it!

According to the Long Beach Press-Telegram, rapper Nate Dogg has died. He was 41 years old. Though a cause of death was not reported, the paper mentions that the rapper (whose real name is Nathaniel D. Hale) had suffered two strokes over the last several years.

Nate Dogg collaborated with such artists as Ludacris and Snoop Dogg throughout his career.

Five days after being taken to the hospital for an accidental overdose, comedian Greg Giraldo has died at the age of 44. A source told TMZ:

“Greg passed away today at the hospital in New Brunswick as a result of an accidental overdose. His family was by his side.”

A public memorial service is reportedly being planned.

Broncos wide receiver and 2009 fifth-round draft pick Kenny McKinley was found dead in his home Monday afternoon. The Kenny appears to have committed suicide:

“Deputies discovered a male in the second-floor master bedroom of the home and determined that male was deceased. Although the death of Mr. McKinley appears to be the result of a self-inflicted gunshot, the investigation into this matter … is ongoing.”
