Cell Phone Company Gets In Trouble For Revealing An Affair
This is probably any philanderer’s worst nightmare. A Toronto woman has decided to sue her former cell phone company, Rogers Wireless Inc., saying that because of their billing practices her husband found out she did the nasty with another man. How did that happen exactly? Well Gabriella Nagy says that in 2007, the company combined her cell phone bill with the household’s Internet and cable bill so her husband saw all of her calls to her side boo. Gabriella is now complaining that the cell phone company’s negligence caused her husband to find out her dirty little secret. The lawsuit contends that the company:
“unilaterally terminated its cellular contract with the plaintiff that had been in her maiden name and included it in the husband’s account that was under his surname. The plaintiff’s maiden name and the husband’s surname were different. Such unilateral action by the defendant was done without the knowledge, information, belief, acquiescence or approval of the plaintiff.”
Rogers maintains that it is not responsible. While being put on blast by your cell phone company for your affair kind of sucks, I have one simple solution that would have solved all of these issues: don’t bang another dude!
