Mary Kate Olsen Hospitalized

Mary Kate Olsen was hospitalized yesterday with a kidney infection and should be released within a few days.

I’m no anorexia expert, but I’m sure this is side effect of her having abused of her body for so long. Time to put down the vodka and pick up the cranberry.

Here’s MK in the Jan. 2008 issue of Nylon magazine.

On people’s perception of her: “I wear weird things sometimes. I like to drink coffee. Neither of these things have anything to do with who I am. I am a bit kooky, I am a bit wacky, and that’s how my friends know me: It’s a happy craziness and they connect with that person and respect me for it.”

MK on being an art collector: “I’m always look at different artists and photographers: Collection art is one of my passions. Right now I’m looking at….or people that I collect and am really inspired by are Racki and Thomas Rolf: they’re provocative and beautiful. Helmut Newton’s women are beautiful. Warhol.”

MK on MK: “I’m a person that has high highs and low lows. You know, I am always growing emotionally and I’m very aware of everything that I go through and that I experience personally. I’m always learning something about myself, whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing, that I need to work on. A lot of things make me sad. Sometimes it’s almost easier to be sad. But you end up finding a balance and I think that as I get older I am learning what I can do for myself to make me happy.”
