Teacher Fulfills Every Educator's Fantasy And Calls Kid A Loser

So this is funny in a really twisted way. Recently a North Carolina teacher got himself in quite a bit of trouble after he decided to write the word “loser” on a subpar class assignment handed in by one of his students. Now in theory, this is pretty funny. I know there have been times when you’ve been a camp counselor, tutor or teacher that you just wanted to blurt out some horribly mean-spirited comment to a kid that just seemed absolutely hopeless. So a part of you has got to be living vicariously through this guy right now.

But unfortunately the parent of the student didn’t think that his actions were so cathartic. Instead she has made a royal stink about the incident. Apparently she’s not amused by the fact that her daughter was given a 20 percent on her assignment “for being a loser,” and I can’t really say I blame her. The Enka Middle School teacher’s defense for his actions: he uses such words to relate better to his students.

Ok Mr. Teacher I was with you until you came out with that lame excuse. Just admit you don’t like the kid and deal with the consequences like a man.
