Condom Design Finalists: Pick Your Winner

After combing through nearly 600 entries, the New York City Health Department has finally narrowed down the field for its condom wrapper design contest. The five finalists will go head-to-head in the competition, with one lucky artist getting his or her design on millions of Lifestyles condoms distributed around the city starting next fall. Wondering which designs made the cut? Check out the finalists, which range from a play on a man hole to a distinctly phallic looking train, after the jump.

The city started the contest with the hope of finding a condom wrapper design that would “capture the city’s distinctive culture while promoting safer sex.” But I’m pretty sure they weren’t expecting hundreds of entries, including some from as far away as Russia, to come in. But either way, these designs are pretty creative.
