Inmates Break It Down To Michael Jackson

The Dancing Inmates at the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center in the Philippines have struck again, this time displaying their dance prowess to the sounds of Michael Jackson. MJ’s choreographer Travis Payne swung by the maximum security prison and taught the inmates routines from Jackson’s “This Is It.” Travis had this to say:

“We thought it would be a great idea to pay homage to MJ on the occasion of the release of This Is It by going to Cebu and having Travis work with the dancers to create this piece which is from the film.”

I’m not entirely sure what a prison in the Philippines has to do with celebrating the life of The King of Pop, but I’m willing to go along with it because the video is pretty sweet. While their performances weren’t done in enough time to include on the DVD, take a peek after the jump.
