Beer at Burger King!

Well, not really, but this is probably as close as we’ll get. Chuck Fallon, the president of Burger King North America, recently announced that the home of the Whopper would be opening up it’s first real restaurant. And it’s going to serve beer! As if the world needed more fat-a$$ed excuses to haul themselves to Burger King. The Whopper Bar is scheduled to open in mid-February and will allow customers to purchase Anheuser-Busch or MillerCoors beer that will be served in special aluminum can that promise to keep the booze extra chilly. How much will a beer in the Whooper Bar cost you? The booze will run you $4.25 by its lonesome or $7.99 if purchased in a combo. Restaurant consultant Linda Lipsky says that Burger King is trying to grow up with its customers and remain relevant when they reach drinking age. Burger King in Germany as well as the Whopper Bars in Singapore and Venezuela already serve up beer to customers, so i guess it’s about time the great U S of a hops on the bandwagon too.
