Have More Sex for a Better Heart, Scientists Say
Looking for a better reason than unbridled horniness to have more sex, well scientists just gave you a belated Christmas gift. Researchers at the New England Research Institute in Massachusetts have been tracking the sexual habits of 1,000 men between the ages of 40 and 70 (eww!) since 1987. Their findings have revealed some positive information for dudes trying to convince their ladies to get down with a little more action in the sack. The study concludes that men who had sex at least twice a week were up to 45 percent less likely to have a heart attack than those who only knocked the boots once a month. Researchers believe that the medical benefits of having more sex come from both the physical exertion of doing the deed, as well as the emotional effects.
It’s been proven by a number of studies that having more sex in your life can have some seriously positive health benefits. From men who ejaculate at least five times a week being less likely to have prostate cancer to sex as a way to reduce the chances of getting a cold or the flu, the arguments against getting it on don’t seem all that strong. So fellas grab your lady and hit the sheets, it could save your life…well sort of.
