Balloon Boy Has to Pay Up
Well at least his parents do. After that little incident with Falcon supposedly going up, up and away in a homemade hot air balloon, Richard and Mayumi Heene are going to have to cough up $42,000 for all the trouble their little lie caused. The bill was sent to the Heene’s from the Larimer County District Attorney’s office, who claims that all the efforts of the police, National Guardsmen and Federal Aviation Administration officials totaled that monstrosity of an amount.
Man I’d hate to be one of the Heene clan. Aside from the obvious stupidity and mental illness that has got to be running all throughout that genetic line, they’ve had kids tell the truth (damn that sense of decency!), kids puke on TV (twice) and had their weird reality show fixation exposed to the world (creepers) and I thought Tiger Woods had it bad. Well, he still does, but the Heene’s lives kind of sucks too.
