Stephen Colbert Gets Gangsta with Alicia Keys

Everyone’s favorite conservative champion Stephen Colbert decided that he had a few changes to make to the Jay-Z, Alicia Keys hit “Empire State” when Alicia stopped by The Colbert Report. Check out Stephen spit those beats like hot fire after the jump.

Rocking a hoddie and his signature glasses, Stephen decided that he wasn’t one to “cop in Harlem.” Instead “shoppin’ mall is close, my community is gated; My shorties are all private school educated,” was a little more accurate. And of course you can’t forget how he hits up the “Hard Rock Cafe for that appetizer deal.”

I’m not sure if it’s the lyrics or the white boy dance moves that put a smile on my face, but even Alicia is looking like she’s feeling it. Jay-Z better watch out, Stephen might just be gunning to run this town.
