Tiger Woods is Leaving Golf

So after a world wind of cheating, window-smashing humiliation, Tiger Woods has finally admitted to his infidelity and decided to take a break from golf. Wise move sir. More after the jump.

In a statement released on his website, Tiger says:

“I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children. I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I’ve done, but I want to do my best to try.”

He goes on to say that he will be taking an indefinite leave from the golfing world, while he and his family try to work their way through his philandering screw-ups. This comes on the heels of several major companies including Gillette and Pepsi discussing Tiger’s endorsement futures with them. Since the revelation of Tiger’s penchant for ho-ing around, none of his commercials have aired.

Oh Tiger, how will we make it through the PGA Tour without you? Your sexcapades are probably the most interesting thing to hit golf since…well…ever.
