Taiwanese Blogger Chick Sets Out To Kiss 100 Strangers

Well, this is fun.  Yang Ya-ching, a 27-year-old Taiwanese blogger and music student living in Paris is going to make out with 100 different strangers and photograph each kiss.

The desire for a lasting memory of Paris is what inspired Yang. According to her blog, the first kiss was from a worker installing outdoor advertising and was like “an autumn leaf falling into my pocket by accident.”

It was pretty special for him too until he learned that she pulled that play on EVERYONE.  From the looks of the photos so far, she’s at least halfway through, so if you’re a handsome lad in Paris, you best look out or she will neck the sh*t out of you and dump you out on the street like a fresh pail of garbage from un cafe (it’s France; no littering laws).  So keep it in your scarf.  There is indeed a minor controversy, plus a few photos from her project, ATJ:  

According to an article in the Taipei Times, many Taiwanese men feel left out and wonder why she didn’t do the project in Taiwan. Others are criticizing her project as “just an excuse to kiss handsome young men.”

For shame.  Total double standard, though.  If I pulled this stunt (“it’s ok, I’m an artist!”), I’d be in for 50 laughs in the face, 30 slaps in the face, 12 arresting officers in my face, and 8 cold sores (on my face).

The other question would have to be, who’s taking the pictures?  That’s a tough friend zone OMG-I’ll-love-you-forever-if-you-help-me chore for some poor sap to get saddled with.  Also, note that the guy in the first pic didn’t even bother to take his iPod headphones out.  He was like, hey maybe I can take you out to TGI Friday’s after this?
