The Next Harry Potter Film Will Be About Gangsters

So Harry Potter’s next ambition is to direct a “London Gangster” flick, apparently because typecasting and artistic horizons and blah blah etc.

“Daniel [Radcliffe]‘s been looking at lots of scripts trying to decide what he’d like to direct. But he’s now focusing on a story about a London gangster.

“Daniel wants to challenge people’s preconceptions of him.”

A Goodfellas Harry Potter?  Do I dare to dream it?

NEVILLE: “You hear that, Harry?  Our boy Ron’s gonna be made tonight!  Our Ronnie, a made wizard!”  [Enter RON]

RON: “Heyy, you f*ckin’ micks!  Guess who’s got some news!”  [Voiceover, HARRY: "I could never be made because I was half-Muggle, but when I heard Ron was gonna get made, I was just as excited as if it had been me." ]… 

[RON enters the Gryffindor common room, where he believes he will have the ceremony.  He sees VOLDEMORT and SNAPE with their wands drawn and immediately realizes what has happened.]

RON: F*CK!

[VOLDEMORT and SNAPE gun down RON, needlessly pumping extra rounds of Avada Kedavra spells into his face and torso.]

[Voiceover HARRY: When they did Ron, it was really bad.  They even got his face so that they'd have to do closed casket, and his mother and brothers and Ginny wouldn't be able to see the body.  It was in retaliation for when Ron had iced Draco Malfoy, who was a made wizard.  In the wizarding world, when you're made, no one can touch you.  Ron had broken the rule, and even though Draco had disrespected him, there was nothing any of us could have done about it.]
