There May Be Gun-Toters at Presidential Events, But At Least Our Airplanes Are Safe From Toothpaste Tubes

gotta get my money

Apparently people, most recently in Arizona and New Hampshire, like to bring guns to see President Obama because it’s, you know, their Second Amendment right or whatever, yee-haw:

“Phoenix cops said no arrests were made because those holding guns — an increasing sight at Obama events — didn’t need permits.”

My girlfriend had her Caudalie eye cream thrown out at the airport because it was >4oz. I replaced it at $75. Yet this winner has an assault rifle within sight of the leader of the free world. I’m stuck wondering who the biggest @sshole is? Me, Sgt. Slaughter in the picture, or the legislature of AZ?

This is a major fail. The president commands certain exception to the law, all related to national security (not getting head and being able to lie about it). If Obama were killed, it could have incredible impacts to our national security including economy, foreign policy, etc. That being said, go have your gun slinging protest at the Arizona Capital, not at a presidential town hall.  Do you need an automatic weapon to protect yourself? Probably only to protect yourself against idiots like yourself.

Toothpaste? THREAT TO NATIONAL SECURITY. Assault rifle at a presidential event? Eh, whatever.

Is it churlish of me when I see gun-toting nuts at these events to think to myself, “What a tiny, tiny penis that poor man must have”?

Now for more kids with guns:

Source: NY Mag. NPR offers the upside: at least the “open carriers” are visible to the Secret Service. Concealed weapons holders are the even greater danger.

Adolph and Papa Joe would drool with envy at the police state that Bush / Cheney created.

Isn’t it amazing how certain people are aghast that someone was acting within the law, and their constitutional rights. How dare they!!! If that man was doing something that was illegal the same people would likely be trying to come-up with a reason to blame his actions on society.

  3. Hodson says:

Kevin, to compare Bush to Hitler and Stalin is fatuous.

T.E., the second amendment is more freedom than some of our sheep-like fellow citizens can handle.

  4. T.E. says:

Apparently the person who wrote this piece has a problem with guns. But at least he isn’t as idiotic as those on the left that fear when citizens practice some of their other Rights, the Democrats in Congress seem to be afraid of citizens making use of the 1st amendment

  5. Jody says:

Apparently the nitwir above me never heard of JFK or Abe Lincoln.

  7. Hodson says:

The Prez was not in danger.
