Video: Stephen Colbert Remembers the Remembrance of Michael Jackson

The other night, Stephen Colbert had a segment remembering “The Death of the Coverage of the Death of Michael Jackson” (6/25/09 – 7/12/09).  ”It was here, and then it was gone, like Octomom or the summer of the shark.”

A funny man, that Colbert.  The Jackson coverage, of course, was largely ridiculous, no matter what you thought of the man.  Colbert got some jibes in at the whole absurd media binge and purge in the wake of Jackson’s death, and this clip shows some of the funniest ones.  Open up, for the video:
