LaToya Jackson Thinks Michael Was Murdered

Latoya Jackson, the sanest Jackson sibling is crying foul play over deceased brother Michael’s untimely death.  This might not come as a surprise, especially when you figure that she’s the least stable of the Jackson clan.  She’s turning to new sources telling them that the “shadowy figures” in her brother’s life are responsible for his death.  Let’s hope she’s in touch with reality enough to not be talking about ghosts.

According to the USA Today LaToya has said:

“I believe Michael was murdered,” she said. “I felt that from the start. Not just one person was involved, rather it was a conspiracy of people. He was surrounded by a bad circle. Michael was a very meek, quiet, loving person. People took advantage of that. People fought to be close to him, people who weren’t always on his side.”

It seems sister Jackson is under the impression that Jackson’s dependency on prescription drugs was escalated, in part, due to the fact that his handlers wanted to get their paws on the sizable share of MJ’s Sony song catalogue.  She also claims that Michael was clean from drugs and his death was a result of his system being put into shock because it was too frail to handle what was happening to it.

LaToya also claims that the same “shadowy figures” were responsible for the isolation of Michael:

It’s impossible even for a healthy person to do that many shows,” she said. “Michael was fragile. He always wanted to believe the best of people. But he was meek. In the last few months, he became isolated. I believe the staff were given strict instructions that if any of the family called, not to tell him. And if any of the family came by, not to let them in.

This entire thing sounds crazy, but I sort of want to believe that Michael Jackson wasn’t your run of the mill, unhappy, famous junkie.  Then again, the fact that he was probably extremely lonely and unhappy and he used drugs to deal with this fact make a lot more since than blaming shadowy figures for getting MJ hooked on drugs in order to gain control over his sizeable fortune.  What do you think?
