The Green Lantern Is Chosen!

After much speculation, the actor that will portray Hal Jordan aka. The Green Lantern has been chosen.  Think you know who it is?

It’s Ryan Reynolds.  He’s set to play Hal Jordan in the 2011 release of The Green Lantern film.  For those not in the know, The Green Lantern is a super hero who’s powers were given to him when an alien spacecraft crashes on Earth looking for a human being to take his place.  Hal Jordan is chosen and given a ring by the alien, which transforms him into The Green Lanter.

Since I found Ryan Reynolds portrayal of Deadpool to be way less than satisfactory I think that this is probably the worst casting decision of all time.  Most of this is based on the fact that I am bitter over the Deadpool thing, which wasn’t even his fault, but rather the fault of Hollywood idiots that changed the Deadpool’s storyline.  Ugh, regardless, what do you think?  Will Ryan Reynolds do Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern justice or should be all be suicidal about this choice?  Hit up the comments and let us know!
