Farrah Fawcett Has Passed Away

Farrah Fawcett passed away this morning after her long battle with cancer.  she was 62.  She’ll always be remembered for her iconic red bathing suit photo shoot, in the shot above, which is how I sort of want to remember her.  As the hot chick from Charlie’s Angels that could really rock a one piece.

Farrah passed with her longtime lover, Ryan O’Neil at her side, as well as her best friend Alana Stewart at St. John’s Medical Center in Los Angeles.  She’s survived by her 24-year-old son Redmond O’Neil.  She campaigned and brought her struggle with anal cancer into the spotlight with her documentary chronicling her travels to Germany for an experimental treatment.  For the past few weeks things had been looking worse and worse for Farrah and her health, but this is still incredibly sad.
