Prisoners Turn To Shakespearean Dialect To Smuggle Drugs

Derelicts are awesome. Here in Hawaii, I had a man try to sell me sex saying that his prostitute would be the best I ever had…however, he did add that he’d want to tape our escapade. Later he wanted to know if I was, “Into buttsexx.” Years ago I realized that sort of thing was probably a bad idea, but if you are the sort of person that is professionally into bad ideas then this story is for you. In a throwback to Elizabethan times, thieves are using a rare dialect to help smuggle drugs and get away with illegal activities in front of prison guards.

Can’t was the language of rogues and prisoners 500-years ago during Elizabethan times. Today it’s been adapted by prisoners in order to help them smuggle drugs and contraband into prisons without alarming guards. The secret dialect was deciphered when prison officials noticed the same sets of phrases being used over and over during phone calls and written correspondence. It was discovered at Buckley Hall Prison in Rochdale, UK. I suppose if you think you are truly bad@ss you could adapt these words into your own vernacular and sell cawbe to the kids around the corner without the warbs ever realizing what you’re up to.
