Video: Orchestra Plays the Sweet Sounds of Beer Bottles

When you think of high culture in Australia, what comes to mind?  Yes, it is a symphony orchestra blowing on beer bottles to play the theme song from a Foster’s commercial. 

Victoria Bitters, or VB, is a popular beer down under, and music is a popular thing to listen to all over the world, so the appeal of this “internet-only” ad is understandable.  You will be surprised at the sweetness of the melodies that come from hundreds of beer bottles.  

Yes, I realize that this came out in 2007, but most non-Australian readers have probably not happened on this yet, and maybe I think the world needs to know about it.

By the way, the composer of the piece, Cezary Skueiszewski, is also the maestro in the video.  The orchestra is the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
