I spend a lot of time watching people raise their children, giving them everything their heart desires and instilling no sort of work ethic or values within that tiny human being. Things like stupid children sized speed boats shouldn’t be a option for when you’re trying to give a child a pool toy. You know what toys we had when I was a kid? Rocks and inflatable inner tubes. If you hogged the inner tube for too long the other kids would pelt you with rocks until you gave it up. That just didn’t teach me about sharing, but it taught me about life and how people will destroy you if you’re the asshole hogging the only toy around.
