Video: Tiny Toons Teaches Children How to Get Their Slant On
Back in the day, there was this show Tiny Toons. It was basically Looney Tunes, but for children. (Come to think of it, I’m not really sure what the point of Tiny Toons was. Some Warner Bros. producer must have pitched the idea somehow: “So get this – it’s like Looney Tunes… but smaller. And less good.”)
Anyway, during one particular episode in 1991, the show aired a sketch called “One Beer,” to educate children about the effects of alcohol. Here are the takeaway lessons:
- If you’re not drinking, it means you’re soft.
- Everything is hilarious when you’re hammered, including booting on your friend’s face. Especially booting on your friend’s face.
- Chicks who don’t want to party with you are obviously stuck-up b*tches.
- To quote Hampton the pig: “Do you mean like, steal the car? Risk going to jail? Sounds like fun!”
Click through for this very special episode of Tiny Toons, in which Buster and pals get sloppy, mack on broads, and steal a cop car.
An excerpt from Act III, scene i.
Plucky is driving the police cruiser.
Buster: So Plucky, how does it feel to be DWI?
Plucky: DWI, what’s that?
Buster: Driving while intoxicated!
Plucky: That’s ridicalus! I don’t know how to drive!
They drive past a sign that reads “NOW LEAVING REALITY.”
