Truer Words Have Never Been Spoken: "A September 11th for the music industry."

I can’t help but feel like part of this is my fault, because I listened to Creed when I was younger. Guilty as charged. Someone must not have told them that their younger fans have found the light of reason and are no longer in need of their Jesus poses and slicked-back, long wet hair.

If news wasn’t bad already with the economy and the swine flu…Creed, the band notable for songs such as “With Arms Wide Open”, “Higher” and other insufferable audible vomit has announced they are reuniting, releasing a new album and beginning a tour later this summer. Scott Stapp made a statement regarding the matter:

“I wouldn’t call it a reunion,” the lead singer said. “It’s a renewing and a rebirth. I missed my boys and wanted to create music with them again. We’re all thrilled to have a second chance to make a first impression.”

This is pretty terrible news. A September 11th for the music industry. I thought the civilized nations of the world outlawed torture.

Whoever wrote this deserves to have his penis pampered with loads of spit and warmth for that last line. It’s ingenious.

It’s christian rock on steriods, Yeah! And their lame ass vid’s… It’s like your waiting for some sort of climatic stigmata occur but nothing ever happens; or at least nothing but lame ass poses on top of mountains. Rlly though, sounds like someone needs a paycheck. Perhaps one of the gayest bands ever.
