The Barcelona Sex Project is a film by Erika Lust.  It could be described as a lot of things, but in it’s most quintessential form, it’s a feminist look on how women perceive sexual relationships by the ways of intimacy in emotional relationships.  Lucky for everyone involved this means you end up getting to watch six people masturbate.

Three men and three women were interviewed for this documentary–uh, porno.  The film is slightly formulaic in the way that it pans out, the subject is interviewed, followed around in their daily life and then filmed while they masturbate themselves to orgasm, which is actually sort of hot.  However, the film is in Spanish so the entire first part of the interview and whatnot is available in subtitles, which, let me tell you is weird.  Especially when you know you’re only watching it to see people get off.  Then you just fast forward it to the good parts.
