The OfficePod Might Increase Work Productivity, But Will You Have Time to Rub One Out?

The OfficePod. (1)

Working from home is pretty damn awesome, but there are drawbacks. Actually, it doesn’t. It sucks when it’s a slow day and you have no one around to talk with and end up falling asleep. But then there are days when you just crank that sh!t out and decide to treat yourself to a well-deserved 15 minute break to look at porn.

That’s why OfficePod was created. So people who work at home could have themselves a more productive work environment. The details via Gizmodo.

The idea is to separate your office from the house with a easily constructed pod that provides both style and functionality. Naturally, the OfficePod puts a premium of eco-friendliness and sustainability with recycled building materials and energy efficient lighting /cooling.

I’m pretty eco-friendly, but this is something else. Isn’t there a reason most of us who work at home choose to work at home? Because we can work in our pajamas, albeit from the home office or on the couch watching reruns of It’s Always Sunny.

After all, the OfficePod has all those windows. How am I supposed to do jumping jacks topless while trying to get my brain to function? Seems like an additional waste of space. If your kids or your roommates are going to interrupt you while working in the house, chances are taking 20 steps in the yard isn’t really going to make a dramatic impact.

  1. Not A Loner says:

Yes, but, what about office football? Or a simple game of Who Did It?
