Old Swingers Reminisce About Their Pre-Viagra Sex Lives at Plato’s Retreat in New Documentary

Swingers have always fascinated me. Personally speaking, I can see the attraction. If doing it with one partner feels amazing, how must it be to add multiple parties to the mix? 

You hear the tales: “The best part was me f*cking my girlfriend while the other chick sat on her face and made out with me.” Eff the bullshit, I’m not gonna lie, my ears aren’t the only things to perk up at the sound of that. 

Conversely, one also hears the tales that paint a more believable situation when sex involves more than two partners: “His girlfriend was blowing him when the other dude came while doing her doggie style, at which point her boyfriend ran to the room crying.” To visualize that brings a tear to my eye, both from laughing and from sadness.

Now imagine if the people telling you these stories weren’t your age, but in their 50s, 60s, and 70s. New York Magazine recently caught up with some movie patrons at an NYC screening of the the film documentary “American Swing,” where these old swingers reminisced about their days of getting tagteamed at Plato’s Retreat, an infamous NYC swingers club in the late ’70s, early ’80s. Nothing is sexier (or funnier) than hearing 60-year-old sluts sharing with us that time she watched her friends have ”explosive sex” and that other time she held ”two cocks at once.”
