Your Daily Fug: Dan Aykroyd Is Super Fat
There’s a ton of speculation about the up and coming Ghostbusters 3 movie, which is being written. I am here to tell you that I speculate that the big huge twist in this installation of the film is that Dan Aykroyd will be playing Slimer. He’s finally fat enough to play the disgusting, slime spreading ghost. Just look at his face. It has Slimer written all over it, or is that obesity? Who knows for sure?

I think he looks healthy. Not at all as bad as Chevy Chase these days.
Was this guy ever funny?
Yes, he was. In fact, he was the resident “boy genius” of SNL when they started. Bass-O-Matic, Irving Mainway, the two “wild and crazy” guys, Mel’s Char Palace, the Blues Brothers, E. Buzz Miller, the Julia Child spoof, Jimmy Carter skits….all written (or co-written) by Aykroyd. He was only 23 when he started on the show. He left when he was 26 when he left to make The Blues Brothers. Eric Idle has often stated that Aykroyd was the one SNL castmember who could have been a Python.
