Video of the Day: Are You An Ex-Masturbator?

I don’t know where to even begin with this post. Despite being raised a Christian Catholic by so-called conservative Republicans, the topic of sex was never frowned upon in my house. I remember my mom taking out the dictionary and encyclopedia and reading the definition of masturbation when I was a little girl and thinking to myself, ‘Huh, so that’s what I’ve been doing all along!’

So imagine my amazement when I discovered this website by a religious group that not only predictably frowns upon homosexuality and atheism, but also frowns heavily upon pleasuring one’s self. And how does this religious organization, called the Passion for Christ Movement, plan to push their open-minded beliefs, you ask? Via their Ex-Series T-shirts, i.e. “Ex-Masturbator,” “Ex-Homosexual,” “Ex-Atheist,” and “Ex-Slave.” (That last one is especially insulting.) 

Be sure to click after the jump to see an “ex-masturbator’s” testimony where she delves into how she managed to break free from her “7 year battle with masturbation and God’s power to deliver her from this sin.” That poor girl. Can you imagine a world without self-love? I know I sure as hell don’t!
