Beef is Broke: Beef Bouillon

Actually, I’m not going to make bouillon. It’s some stupid French soup. It takes a little too long for this bachelor.
I have however, concocted a stew of REAL money-savers to get you through the month.
1) Buy private label groceries, as opposed to eating out (Beef’s monthly savings = $220)
2) Finally quitting bad habits, which I shall leave to imagination (Beef’s monthly savings $145)
3) Escape to the outdoors for fishing/camping, instead of drinking in bars with friends (Beef’s monthly savings = $135)
4) Renegotiate credit cards and car insurance (Beef’s monthly savings = $77)
5) No more unneeded movie channels or cell phone data plan (Beef’s monthly savings $72)
TOTAL SAVINGS = $649 (I am not perfect, so it actually saves me about $525 a month, instead.)
So what’s the secret to being able to cope with all of these things and quit bad habits?
Concentration and change of focus. First I started with my daily routine:
Getting up earlier makes me cook breakfast at home, prepare a lunch for the office, and go to bed early, so I’m not tempted to go have a night cap. In addition, I told myself that I would cook dinner OR clean, right when I got home every night for 1 hour. After that and a short, at home work-out, and I barely make it through the game.
