Chris Brown Finally Releases Statement Re: Assaulting Rihanna
In case you were reworking your memories in Jamaica or Amsterdam over the weekend, and forgot all about the Rihanna-Chris Brown fiasco, allow me to fill you in.
Yesterday Chris’ spokeswhore released a statement on behalf of the 19-year-old singer, who is rumored to have assaulted Rihanna a week ago, the morning before the Grammy’s. The statement read:
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.
“Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong.
“While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else.
“Those posts or writings under my name are frauds,” the statement concludes.
“Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong”? So, are you saying you knew she was still alive after you choked her and fled the scene? Oh, well in that case… that changes everything!

Alright, but we DO know he ASSAULTED her. Does it really make a difference whether a guy choked a girl or just slapped her? No, it really does not. And even if he didn’t choke her, this isn’t CNN, it’s not a news source, it’s a place to discuss pop culture. No many should EVER hit a woman. So as far as I’m concerned, I don’t care what her father or his father say, we know he hit her and left bruising, and THAT is more than enough for me to not like him. If a man ever hit me I’d beat the shit out of him and wouldn’t take him back if he cut off his d!ck and begged for forgiveness!
