i’m a female and i watch porn. however she does have really valid points like how ugly the actors are, and it can be degrading (even my male friends dont like seeing facials), how contrived it can be…also there are so many negative connations associated with it.

Nowdays i watch mainly hentai movies because they have a storyline and i know no one got hurt/ trafficked or coerced into doing it.

I find this topic interesting because I never understood why people were against porn. I mean, I understand how some might see it as “degrading,” but I don’t think that term accurately represents the genre as a whole. Some porn is bad, others can be very good.

As a female, I can say that I’ve watched porn since I got a hold of the Internet about age 13. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with playing with one’s self, and it’s easier to get the visual with porn. The older I’ve gotten, however, and the more experience I’ve had with “real” sex, the more I’ve come to be turned off by porn.

I’ve tried watching it for reasons of self-stimulation and I can honestly say I can no longer finish the job. The types of videos I come across nowadays are so far from the truth. They’re aggressive, but not in a good way, and I don’t think they portray what women (from the most white bread to the kinkiest) actually like.

My advice to men who watch porn: Watch lesbian porn. Chances are you’ll learn more from them than whatever traditional porn is out there. (Well, lesbians that strike you as “real” lesbians. Not one’s doing it for the paycheck. If you know what I mean. Fake is fake.)

The thing I think what’s wrong with porn has nothing to do with facials or group sex or any of that. It has to do with the techniques people duplicate from watching it. The techniques on tape are not what we want, and yet they’re teaching guys that that’s what we want. It’s all about technique! =)

i’m not that into porn BECAUSE i’m so visual. a photographic memory is a terrible thing if filled with ugly images. the rare porn i have chosen is therefore all male. a pornographic image is never going to ‘like me in return,’ so what do i care if he’s gay? and besides, porn is never part of my masturbation routine; that is pure physicality beyond even lust. think about it: even babies manage to play with themselves!
