Hopefully our government doesn't just make 'medicinal use' legal, but they also de-criminalize recreational use. This would mean that using pot would be a fine under $1000, typically. This is the case in Denver, CO. Where you may possess up to 1 oz. (I didn't fact check this, so let me know) of pot without criminal charges. If 12 states have adopted lighter pot laws recently, I think that the states, not this administration will turn the tide on this ill-fated "War on Weed". That was the case with some prescriptions drugs, but will not most likely be so for pot.
