Jennifer Lopez a Poser? You Don't Say?!

Random side-note: If you look closely at that above pic at Jennifer Lopez‘s ass at the Golden Globes Sunday, doesn’t it look like the gown’s seam around her ass cheeks are holding on for dear life? Just sayin’!

Anyhoo, OK! Magazine is reporting that people are furious at J. Lo and Marc Anthony because, despite them never publicly supporting Obama prior to the election, they’re now swooping in and participating at the Latino Inaugural Ball on Jan. 18 in D.C.

One source quoted by the column calls them “vile opportunists for worming themselves into anything Obama related even though they had nothing to do with his win.”

Others say Marc wouldn’t perform for Obama at a voting event crucial to the Latino demographic in Orlando, Fla. weeks before the election, and that Jennifer wouldn’t support the Democratic candidate unless he called her personally—which he didn’t.

A J. Lo/Marc source defends the power couple, saying, “A lot of celebrities are showing up as guests of magazines or political people and not paying anything or doing anything. Marc and Jennifer shouldn’t be reviled for that.”

Believe it or not, I’m not a big fan of celebrities endorsing politicians, but regardless of that I would have to agree with the “vile opportunists” statement made by one critic. Jennifer Lopez does not strike me as the most compassionate person out there. If she’s participating or contributing her time to a cause or event, more than likely it’s because it is she who will come out ahead.
