NFL Mess and Why Tebow? Why?

Arizona Cheerleader

The Cardinals and the Ravens are one game away from the Super Bowl. I can just see the Super Bowl festivities now.

At least it will be a comfortable environment for girls. I don’t feel that I’m going to be glued to the TV, ignoring them, like I will if it is Steelers v. Eagles. Oh, please, please, please, don’t turn Super Bowl Sunday into another other game! It’s supposed to be special.

I don’t even care if it’s half of what it was last year, I would take a quarter of the excitement. I’m not saying it wouldn’t be a good game. Both teams are playing well right now, but I just don’t see the excitement in watching this game. There’s no story behind it.

So, on the other hand, let’s say it’s Eagles v. Ravens. That’s not too bad. Neither is the sound of Steelers v. Cards. Ok, so this might sound like a bunch of nonsense, but let me know what you think, in the comments section. Does anyone else think that this would be a pitiful Super Bowl?

Tebow Stays

Someone who won’t be playing Sundays for another year, Tim Tebow, is staying around Gainesville, because he wants to be the greatest college football player of all time. (That, and the mad ass he’s getting.)

How selfish of him! He’s not thinking about how much money he could be making for all of those kids that he gives circumcisions to in the Philippines. Also, he’s not thinking about all of the other teams that want a shot at the SEC or National Championship, much less the other Heisman candidates!

How could he do this? He’s supposed to be mister humanitarian, and look at him! It’s not like Urban Meyer needs another National Championship. Hell, you know Florida doesn’t need to win another major Men’s Football or Basketball championship for a while!

13 years ago, they didn’t have either one. Now they have 5 total.

Whether Tebow will have the fire in his eye, like he did this year, is questionable, but you have to know that he’ll still be deadly.

That jump pass is not going anywhere. Ask Sam Bradford if he is 100% sure he should be the Heisman winner. I’d like to hear his answer.

The two teams that really don’t belong here are Arizona and Baltimore. I know about the Card’s offense and how they have two of the best wr’s in the NFL, but really, who have they beaten? They play in the weakest division, have a questionable defense regardless of take aways, and lost to every team with a winning record during regular season. The only way Arizona beats Philly is if Philly beats itself. Other than McNabb lacking a proven/experienced wr core, he knows how to spread the ball around well enough to get the job done and, more importantly, has who I think is the best player in the NFL (when healthy) backing him up, Brian Westbrook. NFC championship prediction: Eagles 40, Cards 23.

As for the Steelers vs Ravens go, this one isn’t as easy to predict but I’m picking the Steelers only because Baltimore has too many injuries at key positions and inexperience at qb. Plus, their victory over the Titans this past weekend was a fluke. The titans had the better team. AFC prediction: Steelers 17, Ravens 13.

As far as Tim Backdoor lovin Tebow goes, don’t even to get started on that one. They guy’s still overrated, still over hyped about, and even worse, still a effing retard. Let s see, he could either choose between getting his ass handed to him every weekend behind Detroit’s pathetic OL only to become the league next Ryan Leaf, or continue his lead role as college football’s biggest drama queen. His choice didn’t surprise me
