I’m a huge fan of Patti Smith, and I think Horses will forever go down as one of the best rock albums of the 20th century, but I’ve never quite understood this fema-hobo look she’s notorious for sporting.

We get it, you’re not one to be confined by society’s standards, but is it really too much to ask you to wax your ‘stache and brush your hair into a ponytail? It’s okay, Patti. We still love you!
