The truth is my entire family is Puerto Rican and I was born and raised in San Juan, up until the age of 18 when I moved to Tallahassee, FL to attend FSU. I have lived in the States ever since. No, I don't listen to reggaeton or salsa (Rock, punk, and jazz are my loves), and English is my predominant language, but I still eat arroz con habichuelas almost every night and love playing dominoes and listening to old school latin jazz. Aside from that, I even LOOK Rican. I have olive skin, am short my anglo standards (5' 2") and weigh 120 lbs., with dark dark brown hair, and brown eyes. I don't have the super big, stereotypical Rican booty, but I've never heard a single man complain about the booty that I've got. A may have a way with words, as you said, (I majored in Journalism and Creative Writing), but a liar I am not. And definitely I'm not white! Haha. So believe you me when I say that I'm 100 percent Puerto Rican, although I think one of my grandmothers is part Asian, but that's a topic for another day! =) I love all you guys and thanks for all the positive thoughts.
