Can anyone explain to me what happened to Mickey Rourke? I really need to know exactly what happened to super hot, 91/2 Weeks, Mickey. This is something that is foreign to me, like alient abduction or the plot of any of David Lynch’s films.
I realize it is plastic surgery gone bad, but how do you go that bad? How does something like that go so badly? It was like he was awesomely hot one second and then the victim of a terrible case of monster face the next second.
I guess this should read as a cautionary tale to anyone considering going under the knife for unnecessary reasons. Sure, things might turn out fine, but there’s the small chance you could have to live the rest of your life looking like Mickey Rourke. Is that a risk you’re willing to take?

Uhhh… wasn’t he in some crazy motorcyle accident a long time ago which led him to have major reconstruction surgery of his face?? Maybe it’s another guy… but if I am not mistaken… it was him!
Mickey was stupid and decided it would be a good idea to become a boxer right around the time he was hot in Hollywood. This is what ruined his face. Two decades later, he is still trying to fix his deformed face.
It was from boxing, not plastic surgery. He became a boxer at an age when most are retiring from the sport, completely messed up his face. He had surgery I’m sure but it was to basically repair himself, because he was literally getting torn apart.
…I’m more intrigued to know what happened to his hair!!!??? I can understand his face being like it is now because of aging, boxing, plastic surgery or whatever, but the hair!!!
His hair is fug, to distract from his face.
