Your Daily Fug!

I’ve been sitting here trying to figure out whether or not it’s fair to post these photos of Kim Basinger at the Los Angeles premiere of “While She Was Out” in Los Angeles, California yesterday as today’s Daily Fug!  It just doesn’t seem fair to me. 

The truth is that as soon as I saw these I shook my head in horror and a genuine “Yeesh” escaped my lips.  But then I started to think about it and I started to feel guilty.  As a woman, I understand the pressures society puts on us to look good and I only try to pick on someone if I think they’re a total tool and deserve it.

In the case of Kim Basinger, however, she never bothers us. She’s not one of those sh!tty celebs calling the paparazzi every minute she can, clamoring for love and attention.  Not to mention the fact that her overabundance of wrinkles is an indication that she’s probably stayed far, far away from botox and plastic surgery, and in an industry where teen stars are already going under the knife so young, I’m happy to see a female celeb who has the balls to stand up for her beliefs without yelling it at the top of her lungs and us having to read that crap in People Magazine.

So I’ve decided to retract my statement as Kim Basinger being today’s Daily Fug!, especially considering she’s 55-years-old.  Although, she really ought to get a new stylist.  It looks like her eyebrows are melting and she just got done having a quickie in the limo ride over, her hair falling about the place.
