Video of the Day: Björk, Featuring Thom Yorke

Here is Björk‘s latest single “Nattura,” featuring the ever talented Thom Yorke of Radiohead.  Actually, the audio is new, the video is a compilation of old footage.

According to PitchforkMedia, the single is a protest song meant to help environmental causes in her native Iceland.

“Nattura” is described as “more of a protest and rallying cry than a lecture,” and the aggressive drums and Björk’s piercing vocals certainly bear that out. The only other sound heard, practically, is what would seem to be Yorke’s voice, distinctive but certainly heavily processed as it floats in the background. It’s a pulse-quickening song that flies by in three and a half minutes.

Her management team reports 100 percent of sale proceeds from the single will be used for environmental causes in Iceland.

I know not everyone digs Björk, but I thought I’d put up the track all the same. I hope at least some of you will enjoy it!  Oh, and can anyone make out Thom in the track, ’cause I sure can’t?
