What's New Pussycat?

You might recall Amanda Seyfried from Lindsay Lohan‘s only good movie ever, “Mean Girls.”  She played the dumb blonde in “The Plastics.”  She’s also in HBO’s hit drama Big Love, about a polygamist family.  But while Lindsay’s movie career has gone down the shitter, Seyfrieds is shows signs of promise.

Photographed for the latest issue of Vanity Fair Magazine, Seyfried talks about playing Meryl Streep‘s daughter in the screen adaptation of “Mama Mia!” saying, “She’s the coolest human being ever.  She didn’t treat me like I was younger. She respected me. I couldn’t ask for anything better.”

Seyfried also stars opposite Megan Fox in the Diablo Cody film “Jennifer’s Body.”  Of the film she says, “I play the nerdy best friend of Jennifer, who becomes a zombie.” Seyfried adds, “I’m like the heroine of the movie. I have to try to save the small town we live in.”

Say what you wish, but I’m really excited about seeing “Mama Mia!”  I absolutely love ABBA!  Actually, I’m rocking out to them right now.  You know, ’cause I’m cool like that.
