Young people make mistakes, I know I did. Hopefully, they learn from their mistakes. The judge should have stuck with com service, probation, and a huge fine. But jail Time? The other cat is just as guilty. I think the judge was trying to prove a point, with all the celebrity tag alongs this might get....And as for Johns family, shame on them. This world is all sue happy -- any chance they get they sue, sue, sue. It's a shame what happen, but he lived. Throwing the driver to the angry mob because someone is left brain dead, or call jail justice, isn't seeing the whole picture. John is an adult who could make his own desicions. He made the choice to get in that car, and I'm 100% positive he wasn't begging Nick to slow down and stop; I know I wouldn't at that age, and that wasn't too long ago.
