Richie Cuts Back on Her Food Intake. Shocker, I Know

The Mysteries of Breastfeeding

Nicole Richie talks about the birth of her baby girl, Harlow Winter, in the upcoming issue of People Magazine.

In the issue, which hits newsstands this Friday, the former heroine addict talks about how the birth of her child has changed life, saying, “It’s almost like I don’t even remember what life was like before her. She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose.”

She also revealed a little TMI regarding her eating habits due to breastfeeding, saying, “I eat really bland [food] – chicken noodle soup, vegetables, fish. I had to cut out milk, no tomatoes, no lettuce. You think you have to cut everything out when you’re pregnant, but you really have to cut everything out when you’re breastfeeding.”

Whatever. Girl cut everything out because she’s got severe body image issues. Does she think we’ve forgotten?

Here’s the real question, how does breast milk taste? Seriously. Because I’ve often fantasized about suckling on some milk-filled juggs, but I’m fearful it will taste like sour milk. Bleh.

For having parents that look like these two, that baby is beautiful! I hope it works out for her sake, but I doubt it. They will move on to bigger and lower within a year.

Breast milk is actually really really sweet. It’s just like Vanilla soy milk. I’m serious…I just had two babies and I just finished breastfeeding; my husband tried it and was pleasantly surprised.
