Jose Canseco Sent Twin Brother To Fight In Celebrity Boxing Match

Should anyone actually be surprised that Jose Canseco managed to make a complete mess of his foray into celebrity boxing? Probably not, but I am surprised that he actually enlisted the help of his brother rather than just accuse the other dude of juicing. Though, he probably wouldn’t want to use the same excuse twice. A promoter for Celebrity Boxing recently revealed to the El Nuevo Herald that it was not Jose Canseco, but rather his twin Ozzie who fought in a bout Saturday at the Passion Night Club in Hollywood, Fla. The promoters were far from amused (particularly when they had shelled out $5,000 for Jose) and ultimately called the police when they discovered the switch. Ozzie was later escorted out of the venue. Celebrity Boxing’s Damon Feldman said:

“I’m very disappointed, especially for the way this has affected the fans and our company. First I want to talk to my lawyer to see what legal measures we can take.”

Might want to call in a favor or two to the Donald to help your ass out of this jam.
