Leg Imprints The Next Chapter Of Ridiculous Advertising
One clothing chain in New Zeland has come up with an ingenious way to get their brand out there: Stamping their name on the back of women’s thighs. Why no one thought of that before, I’ll never know. Find out more about their ad campaign after the jump.
The company has actually installed plates on park benches throughout the country that leave imprints advertising their store on the legs on anyone who sits on it. The ad agency behind the leg imprints explains:
“We put indented plates on bus stop, mall, and park benches, so that when people sat down, the message was imprinted on their thighs. This meant that as well as having branded seats, a veritable army of free media was created, with thousands of imprints being created and lasting up to an hour.”
Hmm, interesting.
