Louisiana Councilwoman Wants To Ban Sagging Pants In 'Low Pants, No Chance' Campaign

Councilwoman C. Denise Marcelle must not be much of a hip-hop enthusiast and wants to make certain that the likes of drooping pants folks like Lil’ Wayne never step foot in her space again. Find out more about ‘low pants, no chance” after the jump.

Denise is not pleased at all by the dudes in her area wearing sagging pants that expose their underwear. And while she would love to ban the pants and give police the authority to fine people in violation of the policy, she knows a little thing called the Constitution might prevent that. So she’s started a public awareness campaign called “low pants, no chance” instead. And why the hatred for the jean-underwear combo? Denise says:

“I hate to see it and I see so much of it in my district. It’s disrespectful to the elderly, to young kids and to women.”

Oh come on! Is it really that bad? Plus, who is this chick to be doling out fashion advice?
