M. Night Shyamalan Hoping To Boost Career With Unbreakable Sequel
So this summer’s ‘The Last Airbender’ didn’t do very much to help M. Night Shyamalan‘s faltering career. But with talk of a follow-up to one of his biggest hits, ‘Unbreakable’, maybe this cat actually has a chance to salvage his reputation. Find out more about it after the jump.
M. Night recently told MTV’s Josh Horowitz that fans will sort of get another chapter in the Unbreakable saga in another film series he is working on:
“I cannibalized the idea for the sequel to ‘Unbreakable’ for one of the ‘Night Chronicles’. I fleshed it out more and more, and thought, ‘This could be a standalone movie. I’ll just say it: the third ‘Night Chronicles’ movie is what would have been the sequel [to 'Unbreakable']. So now I need to come up with a new idea.”
Not gonna lie, another ‘Unbreakable’ would be pretty amazing. Bring back Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce Willis and I’m totally there.
