Is T.I. An Oscar Contender? We're Not So Sure

T.I. is setting the bar pretty high with his newfound interest in acting. Find out just how successful the rapper wants to be after the jump.

T.I. already has a few film credits under his belt, but thats not good enough for him. He wants to win the industries ultimate prize:

“I want to have an Oscar by then (40). I want to have made my mark in film as a producer and actor by the time I’m Jay‘s or Eminem‘s age.”

Dude, if you’re that hard up for an Oscar, maybe you should try going Em’s route and win one for best original song or something. I’d be shocked if T.I. ever truly earned the respect for acting that he sort of has for his music.
